Former Delta State Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Okiroro of Isoko Nation, Comrade(Chief) Ovuozourie .S. Macaulay, yesterday joined the Chairman and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Isoko North Local Government Area, alongside other leaders of the Isoko North political community, to receive the State Coordinator of the group, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon.

The event featured the inauguration of ward and unit coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and a political rally held at Opute Hall, Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area.

Speaking at the event, Macaulay stressed the need for unity among the people of Isoko Nation, saying such unity was essential to delivering massive votes for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, representing Delta South Senatorial District, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and Engr. Orobosa Ashakah, representing Isoko North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

The former SSG cautioned the people against allowing personal differences and enmity to undermine the collective interest of the Isoko people. He said, “This is not the time for enmity,” stressing that division would not bring any meaningful benefit to the people. Macaulay therefore charged the newly inaugurated Renewed Hope Ambassadors coordinators at the ward and unit levels to intensify grassroots mobilisation and vigorously campaign for the re-election of President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori and other candidates supported by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In his remarks, the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, highlighted the achievements and policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. He urged members and supporters of the group to take the message of the administration’s programmes and policies to the grassroots, while calling on the newly inaugurated ward and unit coordinators to remain committed to mobilising support for the President and other candidates of the APC ahead of the elections.
Earlier on, in his welcome address, the Isoko North Local Government Coordinator of the group, Hon Elder Godwin Ogorugba, assured the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, its efforts gear towards mobilising massive supports for reelection President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other APC candidates contesting for Senate, House of Representatives, State House of Assembly in the area.
